Washington Learns is the governor's task force to evaluate learning in the state P20.
Statewide Database Licensing-- group purchasing of information databases with details for training. Current databases are ProQuest, Culturegrams, elibrary, Ethnic News Watch, Alternate Press Review, Washington State NewsStand.
K12 Library Initiative-- a three year project with 20 practicing trainers that trained over 300 teacher librarians about the latest methods to be a reading advocate, information manager, and teacher of information literacy and technology.
Library Smart- Information Literacy-- a statewide approach to information literacy with materials to use in your library
Connecting Learners with Libraries-- a collaborative grant program between public libraries and school libraries to connect learners with libraries, books, and information.
Continuing Education Grants Individuals or groups may apply for matching assistance to attend workshops and conferences. The application must be received 30 days before the event.
